BackEnd Developer (Java/Kotlin)

At Softnetix, we develop solutions in sports analytics, gambling, and esports. We have several projects underway. We are looking for Java/Kotlin Developer to join the team. This position is aimed at expanding and strengthening the team.

The company is open to both experienced professionals and aspiring developers. For newcomers, we offer mentorship from colleagues, assistance, and ongoing support. Experienced designers have ample opportunities for career growth, including managing their own projects and building a team.

Technical Stack:

💻 Backend – Kotlin, Ktor, Kodein, Coroutines

🗄️ Database – PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse

🔄 CI/CD – GitLab

📩 Message Broker – Kafka

🐳 Containers – Docker Swarm

Candidate Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in Backend development with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with one of the frameworks: Ktor, Spring, Quarkus, , Axon Framework, Akka, Micronaut, Play Framework.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience using Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with Git or Mercurial.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Linux command line.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, ClickHouse).
• Experience working with Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with container orchestrators (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
• Experience writing tests using Kotest, Mockk, Testcontainers.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of DDD principles and the Event Sourcing pattern.
