We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) to help build infrastructure that protects modern software systems and powers high‑load services. You will work side by side with a strong engineering team, developing high‑performance, secure backend services used by enterprise customers.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs with a focus on performance and reliability.
Work with relational and non‑relational databases (SQL and NoSQL), optimizing queries and data structures for high‑load scenarios.
Contribute to the design and evolution of a microservices architecture in a cloud environment.
Solve complex engineering problems and write clean, maintainable Node.js code.
Requirements
5+ years of backend development experience focused on scalable applications.
Strong, production‑level experience with Node.js.
Solid experience working with databases, including SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB) under high load.
Understanding of cloud services (AWS / GCP) and microservices architecture.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for clean, well‑structured code.
Location: on‑site office in Minsk.
