Backend Developer (.NET)

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (.NET) for a project developing a digital real estate platform and delivering scalable solutions for property management and investment.

The customer is a technology company developing digital solutions that modernize complex business processes and improve customer experiences. Its integrated platform brings together multiple digital services into a seamless online experience, helping users manage a wide range of activities more efficiently. By leveraging innovative technologies, automation, and strategic partnerships, the company drives digital transformation while enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accessibility.

The project is focused on developing a digital real estate platform that simplifies property investment, financing, and ownership. It combines fractional ownership, mortgage services, and property management capabilities into a single solution, making real estate more accessible and easier to manage throughout the entire ownership journey.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend systems using C# and .NET technologies.
• Leading the design discussions and implementing best practices for service-oriented architectures and microservices.
• Driving the evolution of our existing platform to the next level by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and strategies to ensure a future-proof and scalable infrastructure.
• Ensuring high quality unit/integration tests where required.
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues, with a strong emphasis on debugging skills.
• Optimizing system performance through proactive analysis, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives along with observability tooling.
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing your deep technical expertise across teams.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contributing to agile processes and driving continuous improvement in development methodologies and practices.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new tools and practices to enhance the technical stack.
• Contributing to the technical strategy and roadmap of backend services.

Must-haves:

• Experience with .NET development for 4+ years.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure cloud services like key vault, app config, various queueing products and ADB2C.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
• Extensive database design experience with SQL and NoSQL.
• Extensive caching strategies and related experience.
• Command over codebase architecture and code organization with relevant design patterns.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Previously worked in a fintech/proptech industry.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus.
• Certification(s) related to Azure or cloud technologies.
• Programming experience in a related language such as Golang, Typescript, etc
• AWS cloud native experience.
